they are humanist and politics is the mechanism for atheists’ to employ their humanist beliefs

There’s a lot about many atheists that I don’t find very humanistic.
Just like many who proclaim to be believers, many fail to live like Christ as well.
Why should atheists be any less faithless to their beliefs? ;)
‘There’s a lot about many atheists that I don’t find very humanistic.’
which is, of course, exactly what you could say about any particular cohort of people...
My wife’s nephew is as he describes himself, “a friendly atheist.” He grew up in a Christian home but went to college and bought the progressive ideology hook, line, sinker, reel, tackle box and anchor.
He spends his time bashing Christians on social media and mocking God. I asked him why once, do you mock people of faith who have never said a word to you and why do you mock a God whom you claim doesn’t exist? Oh I don’t came the reply, I’m a friendly dude. I said then you should read some of your posts from a view of a person with faith, they are quite nasty and mocking. Oh no, I’m not that way. I said your posts drip with hate and that is going to burn you up. He leaves me alone now at family functions.
The atheists god of government will eventually fail them. But the real God will continue to be a focal point of their hate and rage. Their atheism will evolve into an open declaration of war against the Almighty at some point, destroying their paradigm of there is no God and their atheism. They will acknowledge His existence and declare open hate and warfare against him. It’s coming...
