More than 60 members of the Tennessee House Republican Caucus have signed a letter calling for Metro Nashville Police to release the Covenant school shooter’s manifesto.
The writings of transgender killer Audrey Hale have become a focal point since the March 27 mass shooting, as the FBI has sought to keep them under wraps — prompting two lawsuits to compel their release.
A letter to Metro Nashville Police Chief John Drake sent Monday was signed by 66 caucus members and requests “the release of the perpetrator’s writings as well as relevant medical records and toxicology reports.”
Rep. Jeremy Faison, House Republican Caucus Chair, told The Post Wednesday his group doesn’t “understand the apprehension,” and pointed out legislators are being asked to consider new gun control legislation since the shooting without knowing the totality of Hale’s circumstances.

At a minimum, my guess is that they’re hiding abuse (bullying or worse) suffered by the shooter in the school, the fact that the school and other authorities refused to do anything about it, and other things that will make various local public figures look bad.
THIS IS NOT AN EXCUSE FOR THE SHOOTING.
However, it’s usually why local authorities are reluctant to release things like this. The school is *especially* desperately trying to prevent the release, which tends to lend credence to the usual state of affairs applying here.

This is possible, but it’s not the usual thing cited by school shooters. Look at why the Columbine duo said they did it - bullying, abuse, authorities that didn’t do anything. That’s the usual ‘cause’.
And again, a disclaimer: The shootings are *all* on the shooters’ heads, but bullying should not be tolerated by school authorities no matter who is doing it. This has been an increasing problem in the age of “zero tolerance” policies.

An even worse case is that the details in her project plans and journals can identify people who intentionally created this berserker windup toy and set her loose to perform her terrorist suicide mission.
The FBI doesn’t want it released. The same FBI that covered up Hunter’s Laptop, pushed the false Russia narrative, spied on Trump’s campaign - so if they don’t want it released, then it incriminates people that need incrimination. It’s that simple.
What they will likeky redact if they publish the manifesto.

Based on legal actions taken recently....with the school having some ‘don’t release’ talk...I think the manifesto has some comment alluding to one or two school personnel having a physical relationship with the trans-killer. It would take this chatter to a new level, and beg for an investigation if there were any truth to the manifesto.
That could also make sense - but even my original guess without such a relationship would make school administrator types do this sort of thing. They’re just like that these days.
Maybe the dead perp had a assault group of like-minded crazies with a roadmap for mass murder with names of group members, chosen victims,ammo and weapons cache locations, maps, and suppliers. Maybe they were earning money cooking and selling meth and fentanyl.
