MSNBC’s Weissmann: Durham Report ‘Big Fat Nothing,’ ‘Russia Interfered in the 2016 Election’
Breitbart ^ | 05/16/2023 | Pam Key

Posted on 05/16/2023 6:29:33 AM PDT by ChicagoConservative27

MSNBC legal analyst Andrew Weissmann said Monday on “Deadline” that he believed special counsel John Durham’s probe into the origins of the FBI investigation into former President Donald Trump’s potential ties to the Russian government was a “big fat nothing.”

Weissmann said, “If John Durham was really just doing an investigation to talk about what are better policies and practices that the FBI could have and was depoliticizing it, I would have been all for that and said great. You know what, there’s no agency that can’t use greater scrutiny. But this was trying to say that there’s a big there there, when there’s no there there. So I just think the big picture, if you step back, is for those people who think oh, everybody does it, the Democrats do it, the Republicans do it, everybody is up to no good and shenanigans, that’s just not true.”

The report is a good summary of the egregious conduct of the FBI and DoJ. But nothing will come of it. As usual, the Republican establishment will talk a good game, bring it up in their investigation but do nothing.

Honestly, unless there is accountability, the report is a nothing burger. We all knew what was in the report. The report should be a vehicle to accountability or it’s worthless.

Yes, they probably did. Buying $50k worth of facebook ads.

Whoopidie doo!

How much did $0r0$ interfere? How about the chinese communists?

Let’s leave alone actually calling the very slanted domestic NGO’s as actual interferers, since they are domestic, even though a lot of them probably have foreign funding.

That’s not the point. The point is a domestic FEDERAL law enforcement agency interfered in a federal election, treating candidates like criminals, with ZERO BASIS

Andrew Weissmann:

Starting in 2015, he became the chief of the Criminal Fraud Section of the U.S. Department of Justice.

He’s perfect for that slot because he is both a criminal and a fraud. As well as a natural-born liar.

“You know what, there’s no agency that can’t use greater scrutiny”

It’s the ‘everybody does it, no big deal’ defense. That is NEVER used when they find something Trump did that they don’t like.

This prick was the real Mueller in the Mueller investigation. I guess he overlooked some things.

This all sounds pretty dismissive. Gaslighting returns with a vengeance.

Denial is one of the few remaining refuges for the scoundrel, an appeal to patriotism being the very last of those refuges.

MSNBC’s Weissmann and that idiot Scarboroug are in a state of denial...

They both had two choices - they could admit they were wrong - and ‘taken’ ...for fools. Or they could pretend the report’s meaningless.

They’ve both made the coward’s choice.

Liberal reality: Receipts on the FIB interfering with an election means Russia did it.

The liberal media, and democrats, do not dare to admit that they were wrong and complicit in the hoax against Trump. They still want to get Trump and admitting that they did him wrong, would be the ultimate betrayal of their agenda to demonize Trump and get rid of him.

They know they were wrong, but admitting it would be suicidal to their agenda.

Also, isn’t Weissmann the guy who set a DOJ record for overturned convictions due to prosecutorial misconduct, lack of ethics, and outright fabrication of evidence?

Hiring this guy as a media legal analyst is like hiring Louis Farrakhan as a tenured professor of rabbinical studies.

If Russia interfered in 2016, they would have done so in favor of Hillary, not Trump.
I suspect they actually did interfere for Hillary, but not enough, and that's why she's so pissed.
Also, Leftists always accuse their opposition of doing what they themselves are doing, that's another big red flag.
