If Trump thinks he can be pro-abortion and win these women over, then he really is stupid and not qualified to be POTUS.
But I think this is Trump not able to control his mouth when he hears the name DeSantis. Trump always needs to criticize something, so he will say anything.
If Trump was actually smart, he would not touch the issue and would focus on trans women in women's sports. That will appeal to more white suburban women than the abortion issue.
But, then again, DeSantis is ahead of Trump on that issue as well.
Maybe Trump could defend children from men in drag rubbing their genitals on young boys?
Ooops, DeSantis is already on that issue.
Besides, Trump wants groomer money and has come out in defense of Disney and Anheuser-Busch.
Frankly, anyone who is supporting Trump now has lost their conservative credentials.
I wonder what Jim thinks of Trump now embracing the groomers at Disney as well as opposing abortion limits?
At a crossroads, if I support pro-life, then all the leftists who would have otherwise choosen to abort will multiply.
Should I or would I rather give people the choice to abort and let them deal with the Lord on their own? Not to mention the murderous physicians and staff profiting from the industry.
Would legal abortion reduce the amount of future queers and thugs?

Meanwhile Trump is saying that a 6 week limit is too severe and most pro-life people do not agree with such limits.

Best thing Christians and Pro Lifer’s can do is just stay home or vote for DeSantis. Trump has been listening to his idiot kids again and has of recent gone after the two core groups that got him elected..Gun Owners should also stay home or vote for DeSantis as well..
Trump does need to win and DeSantis needs to just not entertain the run.
Trump will be an excellent president and pare down many problems. DeSantis will keep many problems in place, as other Republicans have done.
DeSantis is stupid for not waiting another four years. The money and his success with Florida are messing with him. Keep the morals and the policy approaches, Ron, but be patient and say you aren't running, at this time.
Trump is not as conservative as I'd like, but he is needed to break the Deep State up and keep the Republicans and Democrats in line. We need Trump on his vendetta, doing vendetta work on those who grossly wronged him, as president, again.

So you’re criticizing DeSantis for allowing abortion up to 6 weeks, but not criticizing Trump for supporting abortion after 6 weeks.
Free Republic has billed itself as a conservative website since its inception. Not a MAGA website, a conservative one. There is nothing conservative about being opposed to abortion limits. ANY limit on baby murder is a good limit, and is the conservative position. If MAGA follows Trump to the left, it will lose me.
Trump already lost my husband because of his squishiness with homosexuality. Hosting a big, gay party at Mar a Lago was the last straw for my formerly red MAGA hat-wearing husband. The hat went in the trash months ago and he’s abstaining from voting for President in the general because his Christian morality will no longer let him.
I prefer DeSantis but up until recently was open to still voting for Trump in the general. But if Trump keeps running to the left, I will abstain in the general if he is nominated.
Rush always said that the only person who could separate Trump from his base is Trump. Rush was rigt, and Trump’s knee-jerk negative reaction against everything DeSantis does will cost him votes.
Trump thinks we are all in his cult and will vote for him regardless what positions he takes on issues.
Sorry, but many of us are still true conservatives and we will only tolerate so much pandering to the RINO/Democrats.
Now that Trump is pro-baby murder, pro-transition for children, pro-grooming and anti-second amendment (he is also silent on Daniel Penny self defense) we know who is the real conservative and who is not.
So which candidate, who is 100% no abortion what-so-ever, are you supporting?
Then let him run for governor.
