The country now frowns on anyone doing anything.
Most leftists probably hated Todd Beamer but stayed quiet about it at the time. Now after twenty years of softening up the country they’re able to let it all hang out.

A particularly violent iCrimes episode tonight (these are people’s cell phone videos and the police commenting).
When a sassy, arrogant woman backed her car deliberately into a man’s car behind hers——at least four times-—the man stupidly tried to stand there to stop her. No chance-—she hit him but not seriously, twice.
Now get this, the young woman lawyer commenting said the man could have been jailed for “false imprisonment” for impeding the woman’s exit in her car. Hit and run, yes, laving the scene without exchanging ID, yes, but you can’t slow or stop her at the scene or you are guilty of “false imprisonment.”
Todd Beamer? That racist? How dare he intervene with those student pilots trying to learn how to land a plane?/S
