But it can die in the full light of day, too.
Especially if people are prevented from seeing what’s in front of them.

I would just propose a constitutional convention to remove freedom of the press from the first amendment. It is clear the media are not providing the governmental oversight which we the people expect from them. If they won’t do their job, then there is no need for any protections.

Used to be “government by the people, of the people and for the people”.
Now it’s “government by the Swamp, of the Swamp and for the Swamp”.
I am perpetually angry and sick. . . .
They have reported on it - as a Republican scandal. “Republicans ramp up attacks on President and his family.”
Also derisively referring to it as a "political stunt".
