My late father-in-law was an ophthalmologist and always was looking at eyes.
We once were gifted a very nice china set only used once, because he said the pattern appeared to have an eye-like appearance and distracted from his dining.
Would it be OK for an ophthalmologist to say something about a patient’s eyes?
