No witnesses or anything caught on camera? Then how on earth did they get a win on this?

Let me get this straight. If I get a woman in a situation where she and I are alone --there might be other people nearby but no one can see us -- and also there are no cameras, then I can do whatever I want to her with impunity? She won't be able to win a lawsuit against me? And presumably the DA won't be able to prosecute me, given that the standard of proof in a criminal case is even tougher?

Fortunately, that's not the law. It's not required that there be nonparty witnesses or a "smoking gun" video. A victim's sworn statement under oath is enough to support a verdict in her favor, if the jury believes her. It's especially easy to believe her when the alleged perpetrator doesn't take the stand to deny the allegations. I think Trump's lawyers made a tactical mistake there.
