AdChoices FOX News FOX News Biden setting stage for pardoning Hunter as he frames potential DOJ charges as 'political witch hunt': Devine Opinion by Bailee Hill • 1h ago

President Biden is setting the stage for pardoning his son Hunter as his Department of Justice weighs a potential indictment stemming from a years-long federal investigation, Fox News contributor Miranda Devine warned.

Devine's comments come after Biden finally addressed the possibility of his son facing charges during a rare sit-down interview where he dismissed the chance that it would have any impact on his tenure in office.

"That mythology of Joe Biden that's been around for more than four decades, which is that he's a lovely family man… moderate Democrat, lunch pail Joe, working class Joe, the poorest man in Congress, and a wonderful family man full of empathy because of the tragedies in his own life. That's what he's playing on," Devine said during "Fox & Friends Weekend" Sunday.

"I think the end game is that he's setting up… framing this sympathy card so that when it comes time, perhaps in his lame duck period, that he will pardon Hunter and Americans will forgive him because they will say, well, Hunter was a drug addict and Joe just loves his family, and he's been through enough tragedy in his life," she continued. "Leave him alone."

Who is going to pardon Joe Biden for his crimes?

President Harris.

It’s about selling your office. What politician doesn’t? For that reason, nobody will touch it. As goes the Biden family for it, so goes most of our congress. (Just for starters)

If he dares to parden his own left testicle, he’ll be opening himself up to be impeached. Where the hell is the so-called “media”? They’re letting their boy get away with some pretty ugly crimes.

Biden supporters and Democrats will rally to his side, especially if he re-tells the story about losing Beau.

Yeah, it's not like that story will ever run out of gas!

Seriously: I am unable to discern which course of action (or inaction) would be preferable, from a Conservative point-of-view. I was just spit-balling here.

Wonder how broad a pardon can be? For instance, can he pardon the scumbag for crimes that haven’t been mentioned yet, but which a future prosecutor might bring against him?

As Ford's pardon of Nixon amply demonstrates, a Presidential Pardon may, indeed, cover any and all crimes that a person may have committed (he need NOT even be charged). It can, theoretically, be a blanket pardon.

The only real limitation is that it can't apply to crimes not yet committed.

And, of course, it is restricted to violations of FEDERAL law.

I am sure that if Biden does this then the media will be all over him for obstruction of justice. Not.

Where the hell is the so-called “media”? They’re letting their boy get away with some pretty ugly crimes.

You mean the same media that drilled deeply into the Hunter Biden laptop story during the election?

Or the same media that told the Biden quid-pro-quo story in Ukraine?

The media will trumpet that this investigation was started by evil Trump and it was a witch hunt from the beginning to damage sweet innocent lunch-pail Joe via his son.

hunter is a danger to the biden re-election story because it threatens the pro-joe women vote.

my stock question to any woman who is pro joe is does that imply that you are pro hunter as well?

the answer is usually no but i challenge them that it is actually yes since joe and hunter support each other in public and in private. politically they are an inseparable unit.

and then there is lunden and navy. what about them?

No justice as long as there are more junior Democrats than there are Conservative Republicans.

Hopefully there are some enterprising DAs to stick state charges to the rotten Biden klan.

My prediction? Brandon becomes the first president in U.S. history to pardon himself — there’s nothing that prohibits it. Assuming he’s still in office, I’d expect it to happen the day after the 2024 election.

When the real gov’t with POTUS Trump comes back, which will be fairly soon; all the illegitimate, unlawful, corrupt perps in the Biden pseudo admin will be removed and prosecuted, and all Biden legislation or governance will be pronounced null and void; including any pardon issued by Biden or any other perp. No sweat!

If Biden loses the election, 100% he will pardon the coke-addict before leaving office.

Your comment implies Bye-Done is running... I suspect that even he will get wised up at some point that Maobama has already determined that Joe isn’t running...
