Thank you. I haven’t heard that song in a very long time. Reminds me a bit of my dad.

In 1967, he bought a black 1963 Rambler American. It had a straight six and a 3 speed standard transmission (3 in the tree).

I remember the body steel was so thick that it would now likrly be considered to be slightly armoured today!

My friend’s father had an automatic transmission on their Rambler (I don’t know what year). But instead of a PRNDL stick, it had push buttons. At the time I thought that was really cool!
