Assassination plot against Zelensky foiled and unit sent to kill him ‘destroyed,’ Ukraine says
Putin and the Kremlin are both legit military targets.
Of course, kremlin will claim 18 were shot down and only one got through.
Remember the hunter-killer teams sent to kill the Ukrainian president early in the invasion?
Russia was hunting the Ukraine leader and had opened a door.

Yeah right Pootie sits around in Kremlin at night... what a bunch of bs.
Kremlin on fire. Putin in his bunker and hiding from arrest warrant. “All according to plan.”
Putin and Zelensky are both legitimate military targets, so is the Kremlin.
There will be cost associated with this attack and does nothing but escalate an already disastrous situation. It probably for the time being stops any efforts to negotiate a settlement.
In WW II, the allies decided not to attempt taking out Hitler, because it would unite the German People and Hitler’s military decisions were insane and it was better leave him making decisions than to take him out and risk a competent leader taking his place.
The same thing could happen with this attack, any Russians on the fence about this war are now probably united with Putin. If Russia and Putin are incompetent and he was taken out in a drone strike, what are the chances a new Russian Leader would not be far more ruthless and insane as Putin
I fear this attack only escalates into a really dangerous situation that ends with consequences no one predict.

Convenient way to get rid of Putin if you’re a political/military opponent.
A former Israeli prime minister who served briefly as a mediator at the start of Russia's war with Ukraine says he drew a promise from the Russian president not to kill his Ukrainian counterpart.
Naftali Bennett emerged as an unlikely intermediary in the war's first weeks, becoming one of the few Western leaders to meet President Vladimir Putin during the war in a snap trip to Moscow last March.
Ukraine needs a drone with a hook and fly Putin to the International Criminal Court.

Zelinsky is toast.

Ghost of Kyiv ‘is killed’: Ukrainian fighter ace who shot down more than FORTY Russian aircraft ‘dies in battle against overwhelming enemy forces’
Parts of the country might cheer, which is crazy.
What would happen if another country openly attacked Biden or any POTUS and killed them, the citizens of the USA would rightly demand a response that did real damage to that country.
Where is the Ukrainian navy at?
I believe you’re correct. The fool has just signed his own death warrant.

Yes, the U.S. response would be nearly-automatic there as well. Straight to Defcon 2 or Defcon 1 and pieces start moving.
