The good news just keeps adding up. These indeed may be preliminary efforts to hamper Russia’s supply logistics prior to Ukraine’s promised offensive. The large oil tanks shown here are similar in size to the ones that were hit a few days ago in Sevastapol. All 10 in that cluster were reported burned up or destroyed.

There are several Google posts about the train(s) derailed by explosives. The aljazeera link below includes a nice map showing the location in Russia about equidistant from Ukraine and Belarus.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/5/2/blast-causes-another-freight-train-to-derail-in-bryansk-region

This next link reports another recent train derailment with fire also in the Bryansk region but closer to Ukraine. There is also a second link at this one, perhaps with photo of the other derailment.

Given how close these two rail “accidents” are to both Ukraine AND Belarus, and given that there are units of Belarusian defectors fighting with Ukraine, these derailments might have been a Belarusian gift to the war effort. In fact, Belarusian train workers causing trouble in Belarus are another reason Putin decided to pull out and move over to the east and southeast of Ukraine once his Kiev effort failed.

I suspect both the Ukraine military and angry Russians and Belarusians may sense that this is the time for partisan activity to end Putin’s egomaniacal non “war.” There will probably be more such similar events in the coming weeks.

Here is a new Ukrainian invention/innovation which should be spread far and wide whereever mines exploding is a danger. This clever farmer armed his tractor with parts salvaged from Russian war scrap, and by remote control sends the tractor through the fields to blow up mines without danger. Definately a good business for someone to develop quickly because the farming season is fast upon Ukraine.

Russia’s military supply facilities are known for spontaneous combustion.

A major fire has broken out at a military facility near Simferopol in Russia-occupied Crimea, as seen in the photos published by Radio Liberty on May 2.

Radio Liberty has established that the blaze occurred at what used to be a training facility for Russian border guards, a few kilometers from Simferopol airport.

Open-source intelligence project GeoConfirmed subsequently confirmed the geolocation.

Russian occupation “authorities” rushed to assure locals that the loud bangs were related to air defense units training.

Andriy Klymenko, Editor-in-Chief of Ukrainian outlet Black Sea News, reported that since the beginning of 2023, more than 30 major explosions occurred in Crimea.

Early in the morning on April 29th, explosions were heard at the Kozacha Bay near Sevastopol. Afterwards, a massive fire broke out at a local oil depot, marked with a pillar of thick black smoke.

Russian occupation “authorities” acknowledged that four fuel tanks were damaged, with the fire consuming 1,000 square meters of area. As of 2:00 PM, they fire was reportedly extinguished.
