The University of California, Davis advised students to stay indoors on Tuesday, as police search for a suspect involved in a stabbing that occurred early in the morning, the third knife attack in less than a week.
Police received a call about a stabbing late Monday night and located the female victim, according to a press release from the university. The incident occurred in a “known transient camp” near 2nd and L streets, according to police. She reported that she was stabbed multiple times through a tent.

Blue America.
Good thing California has strict gun control. Otherwise somebody might have gotten hurt.
Enough is enough. Right moochie? Weapons of war need not be so readily available.
When they rid the world of guns, scum and villainy will use knives.
It’s not the weapon type, idiots.
She was stabbed multiple times “through a tent”.
Was she inside or outside the tent?
Some folks in the UK, including the Church of England, want to ban all pointed knives. They’re not against all knives, only those that are not rounded off like a butter knife is.
This yet another example of how crazy modern liberals are. Restrict the knife, not the criminal. It sounds like a typical Monty Python skit, but it’s real.

Lol. Are they going to ban files, grinding wheels and whetstones too? You can sharpen a blunt knife in a few minutes.
And was the tent considered UC Davis campus housing? WTHell? Camping out on campus.... oooh so apropos of nothing.

Yep. And it shows once again that liberals think nothing through. It’s all about what feels good at the moment.
We see the exact same thing with electric vehicles and electric appliances. Mandate their use. But don’t spend a second thinking about where the needed electric power will come from.
It would be funny except for the word “mandate”. They are dragging us along with them.
Can someone tell us the caliber of knife was used?
Maybe the brand?
Log or short; surgical steel or plastic?
They need to sue the knife company..
“And it shows once again that liberals think nothing through.”
Oh yes they do. They know exactly what they’re doing.
Suspect, 21, arrested in serial Davis stabbings

The nearly week-long manhunt for a brazen killer ended Thursday with the arrest of a 21-year-old Davis man who, it turned out, returned to the scene of his own alleged crime.
Police formally arrested Carlos Reales Dominguez in connection with Davis’ three stabbings shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday, a day after detaining him on Pine Lane and Colby Drive.
He now faces two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
Dominguez is listed as a UC Davis sophomore studying biological sciences on the university’s online directory, but as of April 25 “was separated for academic reasons,” campus officials said in a statement. They did not elaborate.
He also aspired to become a doctor, according to an online profile for a medical internship in which he described “how health care can be fun.”
“Maybe people think it’s boring or it’s scary if you’re a surgeon and you see all that blood, but saving someone’s life makes you feel good about yourself,” Dominguez said.
Illegal alien, unaccompanied minor.
“ A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement official said Reales Dominguez came to the United States in April 2009 as an unaccompanied minor. He was later transferred to a family member. Immigration officials plan to detain Reales Dominguez should he be released from the Yolo County jail.”
