Barrack Hussein DeSantis, running for president since the day he set foot in the governor’s office.
For the GOPe Ron DeSantis means nothing to them. He’s just a useful vehicle in their efforts to stop Donald Trump from getting the nomination. If DeSantis fails, as he likely will, then he becomes expendable. The establishment will just throw him into the political scrap heap and find someone else like a Glenn Youngkin to fill the role. DeSantis has to know this. He’s heading to political oblivion the way things are heading right now. He’s a fool for putting his career into the hands of these vultures!

DeSantis still has time to save his political future.
To do this he must announce that he is not only not running for president, but he is also throwing his full support behind Donald Trump.
This is his best and only play.
That being said, even if he chooses to destroy his future as a politician, he’s probably set financially either way.
The cadre that have been making up lie after lie about Trump because they know Trump is a truth teller, are the ones encouraging DeSantis. This is bad for DeSantis’ career, but DeSantis doesn’t understand that. Trump puffed life into DeSantis. DeSantis might have had a political future outside of Florida. DeSantis’ the interloper will be remembered as just that.
