I tried finding an actual news story on this but could find nothing. Maybe since it's so new, it hasn't been written yet, but I sincerely doubt the MSM would be interested anyway. Matt asked how many people (estimated) can conduct these types of searches and did not receive definitive answers. Matt then asked if they would disagree with the number of 10,000 or more within the federal government who can perform these types of warrantless searches. No one there would disagree with this number.

The additional breach of charter is that the information came from Intel agencies prohibited from spying on U.S. citizens.

3.4 million, that they will admit to.

The fact is that is probably just the number of requests to access the data that is already illegal collected. They are illegally collecting data (which is an illegal warrantless search) on EVERY SINGLE person in the country, not just 3.4 million.

Federal Bureau of Investigation - 115 years of protecting the Government from the citizenry. In ways that would make the Stasi green with envy.

They should pass a law that anyone subject to one of these searches must be notified within 30 days of the search.

Defund and shutter the entire FBI. Allow the 10th Amendment to do its job. All law enforcement is local because all crime is local to the origin of the crime.

Yeah, I have no doubt that the little men of the FBI prefer their backdoors.
