Your point is well taken but I prefer thinking of our varying views as different perceptions based upon our core beliefs and experiences. Generally there is more than one reason for events.
In my view I believe evil is saturating 9ur world, intolerance for what is good is clear evidence to me. Tucker is evidently outspoken about this and the only real solution, prayer. The political views he speaks of so bravely are the clear evil manifested in mankind at this time. Politics is really a minor issue to the whole situation. God is the answer and the hope.
Being fired for expressing religious views may be the very worst reason to fire someone. He may just end up owning Fox news.
I did not care much for the entire issue, because people get fired all the time. But now, this might become very entertaining.

What comes to mind is the battle scene in Star Wars between Obi-Wan and Darth Vader, where Obi-Wan tells Vader *You can't win Darth. If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.*
Carlson is no longer shackled by Fox or any other MSM outlet. He will find a venue and be free to say what he wants and what needs to be said.
I do not expect him to fade away quietly into the night.
I was thinking that speech about good and evil and praying might had something to do with it from the get go. Cant discuss such things in the secular world anymore.
Carlson wasn’t a genuine threat to anything Deep State holds dear.
That why he had the gig as long as he did.

You’re overlooking one important detail of this story that only applies to Carlson — the angle related to Murdoch’s ex-fiancé.
While I am sure Rupert Murdoch was involved with the decision to can Carlson, I have a hard time believing that the very heavy hand of Washington was not involved

Is there data that show how many HITS FoxNews has lost in the last few days? I erased their APP from my phone and downloaded NewsMax and Epochtimes. Where is everyone going?
I believe Tucker was fired over the Heritage speech. I don’t think it was for religeous reasons though.
Tucker did a lot of talking about how the media is so corrupt. He talked about how hard it is and how disturbing it is to know and like people he has worked with all the years and see them purposely go out and lie to people about what is happening,
Keep in mind that we have known for a while now how many of those figures have taken money from Big Pharma to sell the covid lies and push the vaxes.
Tucker talked about all the lies. He framed that in the way it should be framed Good vs Evil.
I bet ole Rupert needed one of those heart pills after hearing that. After all, FOX Snooze has pride for itself for informing people all these years, yet Tucker spoke about how little people know what is going on.
I have to wonder if Tucker didn’t want to get fired or at the least, didn’t care if he was fired.
He is finally free at a prime time of his life to be able to shape his own future and speak the truth.
