FOX Holds Secret ‘Oppo File’ to Silence Tucker Carlson
cf.org ^ | 4/25/2023 | citizen frank

Fox News executives reportedly possess a dossier of ‘damaging’ information on Tucker Carlson, which they are prepared to use should he speak against the network following his departure.

Sources suggest that the file contains internal complaints about workplace conduct, disparaging comments about management and colleagues, and allegations of creating a ‘toxic’ work environment. While a network spokesperson denies the existence of the file, many within the network disagree, citing Fox PR’s tactics to silence Tucker.

Rolling Stone reported:

Fox News executives have in their possession a dossier of alleged dirt on Tucker Carlson should he attack the network in the wake of his departure, eight sources at and close to the network tell Rolling Stone.

When Fox announced Carlson’s departure on Monday, the network presented the separation as amiable. But according to one former on-air Fox personality, the anchor and some of the channel’s top executives are parting ways on “the worst” and “messiest possible terms.” Indeed, in private communications released last month as part of the Dominion-Fox lawsuit, the now-fired Fox host gossiped that one such exec “hates us,” claiming she was covertly working against him and other hosts.

But if Carlson attempts to torch the network he’s leaving, Fox is prepared, the sources say.

Eight people familiar with the situation tell Rolling Stone that Fox News and its communications department — long led by the notoriously aggressive Irena Briganti — has assembled damaging information about Carlson. One source with knowledge calls it an “oppo file.” Two sources add that Fox is prepared to disclose some of its contents if execs suspect that Carlson is coming after the network.

It was a serious crime when we still had a republic.

This may just be out there to try to explain away Carlson opting to take the money and run.

Unless the dossier involves a live boy or a dead girl, I wouldn’t worry about it.
and even then chuck scarborough can shed some light on this

Why would he torch the network?

Best thing that’s ever happened to him, has happened. He doesn’t realize that now, but he will.

I would love to see him reenter the MSM stronger than before. I think he could turn CNN around as a truly great network, if he were to work there.

” Fox News executives have in their possession a dossier “

Ooooo… a “dossier”… now, there’s a word that been in the news a lot the past several years.

Next thing you know, we’ll see a letter signed by 50 television executives saying that this has ‘All the appearances of’ something or other… 🙄😆

The only thing ‘god’ about Fox is it is the only Cable channel covering the Border crisis in any depth. And currently the huge influx of children sent to, they know not where, to work off their indenture.

Susan Rice was one of the people in the know about this aspect apparently.

Tucker will move on to bigger brighter opportunities. FOX is going downhill, has been for over two years now. Terrible shame, but it is what it is.

Ridiculous.

Fox bears witness against itself as complicit by enabling any supposed bad behavior by Carlson in continuing his employment.

“Tucker will move on to bigger brighter opportunities.”

Maybe not. Bannon has been discussing this, regarding a non-compete that is in most contracts and probably is in his.

The way I understand it is that Fox will continue to pay him until the end of his contract, which is for two more years. During that time, he isn’t able to “do his job” — anywhere, and that will shut him up throughout the 2024 election campaign.

True? IDK.

“The celebrity blinds allege that Tucker may have been a bit of sexual harasser...”

Don’t you think that is getting old, overused, like charges of racism.

The idiot woman suing Fox over him was outraged, scarred for the rest of her life because Tucker had pictures of Nancy Pelosi in a bathing suit on the walls of his office. I think that is hilarious.

Maybe we can all sue her for subjecting us to her b*tchiness. What is the difference?

Sounds like blackmail. Tucker should sue FOX. A good attorney would take a case like that.

NO, the woman making that accusation never met him. Tucker has the same wife and a buch of daughters. He is not a person that would harass females.

So do I. Musk showed the way with Twitter. Take away the Left's tools after they popularize them and brainwash the public into thinking Brand = Truth. First Twitter, then CNN...then the Democratic Party.

The best bosses I ever had were real sonsofbitches; they demanded much. They were not sweet. They were equal opportunity slammers. But man did we make progress.

Big “Amen!” to that! I loved working for bosses who other people were afraid of. Charge ahead, get things accomplished, deride the pansies who avoided us, and loved that they avoided us.

I think Tucker should opt out of his contract, if that is allowable and I believe his lawyer is looking at that. Let's say he makes 25mil/year, he'd give up 50 million and do nothing for 2 years or he could start something new and have earnings potential exceeding that and MORE importantly he would stay relevant. In two years nobody will care about him, time will pass him by.
