FOX Holds Secret ‘Oppo File’ to Silence Tucker Carlson
cf.org ^ | 4/25/2023 | citizen frank

Fox News executives reportedly possess a dossier of ‘damaging’ information on Tucker Carlson, which they are prepared to use should he speak against the network following his departure.

Sources suggest that the file contains internal complaints about workplace conduct, disparaging comments about management and colleagues, and allegations of creating a ‘toxic’ work environment. While a network spokesperson denies the existence of the file, many within the network disagree, citing Fox PR’s tactics to silence Tucker.

Rolling Stone reported:

Fox News executives have in their possession a dossier of alleged dirt on Tucker Carlson should he attack the network in the wake of his departure, eight sources at and close to the network tell Rolling Stone.

When Fox announced Carlson’s departure on Monday, the network presented the separation as amiable. But according to one former on-air Fox personality, the anchor and some of the channel’s top executives are parting ways on “the worst” and “messiest possible terms.” Indeed, in private communications released last month as part of the Dominion-Fox lawsuit, the now-fired Fox host gossiped that one such exec “hates us,” claiming she was covertly working against him and other hosts.

But if Carlson attempts to torch the network he’s leaving, Fox is prepared, the sources say.

Eight people familiar with the situation tell Rolling Stone that Fox News and its communications department — long led by the notoriously aggressive Irena Briganti — has assembled damaging information about Carlson. One source with knowledge calls it an “oppo file.” Two sources add that Fox is prepared to disclose some of its contents if execs suspect that Carlson is coming after the network.

The celebrity blinds allege that Tucker may have been a bit of sexual harasser, but that’s all I know.

Which is a vague barrier between being interpersonal and being a lech.

Unless the dossier involves a live boy or a dead girl, I wouldn't worry about it.

Blackmail is standard procedure for the ruling elite. All the big intel agencies (US, Russia, China, Israel) do it. Epstein island was said to be a Mossad honeypot. And Google spies on everyone.

As I said, it’s thin and vague line between interpersonal and being a lech. Often what defines the line is the woman. He may not have really done anything that warrants the accusation.

...disparaging comments about management and colleagues

Ohh...he said mean things about a bunch of jackasses. I'm sure he's trembling about that coming out.

Tucker's net worth is reported by Forbes to be $520 million. Clearly he doesn't need the job to keep food on the table, he could never work a day for the rest of his life and he wouldn't be able to make a dent in his money. It's liberating to be that rich and not beholden to anyone (otherwise known as F**k You money). I doubt they're going to be able to blackmail him about anything.

I hope he goes scorched earth on them.

i’ve seen tweets (forget why by) saying the other woman, Abby Grossberg, never met Tucker, as she worked out of NYC and Tucker was working out of Florida.

don’t know the situation regarding the work location of Irena!

anyway, it’s everything rather than focus on Tucker’s RFK Jr/Big Pharma coverage, or his antiwar stance in the case of Ukraine, or his ability to overcome the left/right paradigm, or his Ray Epps stuff, or his recent epiphany that Trump was likely cheated in 2020 due to Biden & DS interference in the election as regards Hunter’s laptop/the phony Intel letter etc. that was enough to swing the election, and the evidence is clear.

I agree. I highly doubt that’s what he wants to concentrate his energy on.

Tucker,

Give Fox nothing; Fox has nothing that you need. Just walk away. Go forth and apply yourself, with what you have learned lately - and has been on your mind, such as you expressed at the Heritage Foundation.

When they see their ratings turnover they might need to leak their dirt sheet just to get viewers.

Still think it’s Murdochs idiot daughters in law. The sons married stupid leftwing women that are being allowed to take charge of something they have no knowledge about.

A source who is a former Fox News employee tells me Abby Grossberg never once met Tucker Carlson during her time as his booker.

She worked out of the Fox NYC office while Tucker spent all his time in his home studios in Maine and Florida.

That mysteriously goes unmentioned in this New York Times story.
