GOP presidential candidate says Tucker Carlson would be ‘good addition’ to 2024 field

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy said in an interview that former Fox News host Tucker Carlson would make an “good addition” to the 2024 presidential race.
In an interview with Politico published Monday, Ramaswamy, who announced his candidacy for president earlier in February, said that he believes Carlson throwing his name in the GOP candidacy hat will be “good for the country.”
“I think he’d be a good addition to the race,” Ramaswamy said. “I think someone should only do this if they feel called to do it, but I think it’d be good for the country if he got in, to be honest with you.”
Ramaswamy, a conservative investor, also called Carlson “one of the smartest voices in the conservative movement,” also applauded the former Fox News host’s ability to “defect from party orthodoxy when necessary.”
“There’s definitely a thought leadership vacuum in political media, across the political spectrum. And Tucker was one of the great political thinkers and commentators of our time,” Ramaswamy told Politico.

I read Vivek’s book when it first came out in ‘21. After finishing it I read up on he and his history and decided right then that this is one brilliant guy I hoped to hear more from.
As he has seen the further destruction wrought by the Left he decided to take over ten million of his own good fortune and run for President to “make a difference” by giving his thoughts and insight a national stage. I doubt if he thinks he has the slightest chance of winning but he does have a great chance of making a difference and I look on him as a great American.

I think Tucker should go on radio as the next Rush Limbaugh. I know, I know! No one can replace Rush, but Tucker could come close if he stays on the same track he is on now.

I like your idea but whom in the broadcast media would sign up for that? No one as they have demonstrated the are nothing but mouthpieces for the deep state.

“I wonder if Tucker would consider the old Rush time slot.”
That is a good idea. I listened to Tucker on satellite radio. He is good without a script.

I am sorry, but the first thing Vivek Ramaswamy should do is change his name. Vivek is a common name in India meaning "wisdom" and/or "conscience". But in the Western hemisphere the only thing good that can be said about it is that it doesn't sound as bad as his last name. Ramaswamy sounds like a name made up for a Saturday morning children's show by Pee-wee Herman or a similar performer.

If a republican is allowed to win (yeah right) I wonder if Tucker would take on the roll of press secretary. Imagine the exploding heads. It would be as ugly as that grotesque little monster there now.

Vivek is the only person running for a nomination by his party that is saying anything substantive and interesting.

I was thinking more along the lines of a drag queen name! My wife and I grew up near Seattle and JP Patches had a popular character on his show named the Swami of Pastrami. That is actually the first thing we thought of, but only people from this area would understand, which is why I mentioned Pee-wee Herman instead.
