The announcement of Carlson's leaving was made on Monday.
Tucker Carlson's executive producer Justin Wells is also leaving Fox News, two people familiar with the situation told Semafor.
The announcement of Carlson's leaving was made on Monday, after his last show was on Friday, April 21. Fox News Tonight will now feature rotating personalities as an interim show until a new host is named.
Carlson's departure comes just weeks after a former booker, Abby Grossberg, sued Fox, citing "vile sexist stereotypes" working for Carlson. Grossberg claims that she was fired after filing a lawsuit that claimed Fox lawyers coerced her into giving misleading testimony in the Dominion case.
Fox maintains that she was fired for divulging privileged information.
The decision to part ways with Carlson came less than a week after the broadcaster and Dominion Voting Systems reached a $787 million settlement, although his show was not a main focus of Dominion's lawsuit.
Carlson's show was frequently the top-rated show on cable news, often surpassing 4.5 million viewers per episode.
The show premiered in November 2016 and took over the coveted 8 pm EST time slot in 2017. Fox News Media is currently the number one network in all of cable and reaches nearly 200 million people each month. Join and support independent free
the demon-ratd win again!
The J6 video is under the control of Congress.
I’m thinking Kellyanne Conway will be a contender.
McCarthy said he gave Tucker access to all of it. Tucker not Fox.
Anybody notice a pattern here:
Grossberg-—turning against Tucker
Michael Cohen & Allen Weisselberg—turning on Trump
Eric Ciaramella—the “whistleblower”
Rod Rosenstein—appointing Mueller to go after Trump.
Maybe we should pick more carefully?

NEW YORK — April 24, 2023 — FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.
Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.
Tucker Carlson had the number one rated news and broadcast show across the entire media industry.
An immediate firing with no further shows?
This is a stunning breaking development!
Then again….
….. There are Trillions at Stake!
Maybe $787 million and lose carlson was the settlement?😳
Everyone has a price.
Hannity, who follows Carlson, will lose viewers, too.
I saw where this was going years ago in the Navy. While standing in line for liberty while my Frigate was tied outside of a supply ship, this happened: A guy in line told a female sailor walking by the line in civilian clothes "Wow, you look nice". It was about 5 minutes later a female CPO took him out of the line.
The stupid part is she was dressed for success, if you know what I mean. She couldn't just say "thank you" as she continued to walk on? It really demoralized many on my Frigate for months. Thankfully, at that time women were not allowed on combat ships. Now they're on submarines with it's extremely limited space. Anyone here have experience or knowledge of mixed sexes on subs?
I was in the Marines. It was no different..................
Still no official comment from Tucker? Or did I miss something?
"Some say" the stock is dropping ...
Weisselberg never turned on Trump. That’s false.
Rupert Murdoch is Chairman of the Board at Fox.
LOL
“AOC calls for Fox News and Tucker Carlson to be punished for inciting violence”
I cannot help but wonder if this might have had something to do with Fox’s decision. This happens in many countries, so why not in a Post-Constitutional United States?
Look for Harris, Faulkner and David Webb. I think they would be powerful.
That’s hilarious!
LA Times is reporting the order came from the top.
Looks as if Murdoch is using the (frivolous) lawsuit as cover.
