Ron DeSantis super PAC urges Donald Trump to move to California

A super PAC supporting Ron DeSantis has a suggestion for Donald Trump.

NEVER BACK DOWN is telling the former President that if he doesn’t love Florida, he ought to get as far away as possible.

“Donald Trump has so deeply disparaged the state of Florida by calling it the ‘worst state,’ we at Never Back Down will help him leave by offering financial assistance to help him move to his beloved California, so he can be close to his good buddy Gavin Newsom, whom he loves so intensely and gets along with so well.”

“The good news is that since so many people are moving to the state of Florida, thanks to the incredible success of Governor Ron DeSantis, no one will notice when Trump leaves. The state of Florida will be better off when Trump takes his Soros-fueled, dumpster fire of a campaign to San Francisco, where it will fit right in,” wrote spokesperson Erin Perrine Saturday.

The super PAC sortie comes after the former President’s campaign dropped a bomb on Team DeSantis, decrying Florida’s standard of living and crises on many fronts. _____

Odd (not really) that they're not taking that attitude toward the hated Disney.

Probably by the way it is typically always done: persuasion.

And that starts with a candidate who doesn't turn off independents by double-digit margins, doesn't write off the suburbs, and isn't the best mobilizing agent for the opposing party in electoral history.

And do you believe that DeSantis will make the number of unforced errors that Trump will be part and parcel of a Trump Campaign?

“Serves Trump right for his stupid attacks on the State of Florida.”

Trump had not attacked the State of Florida, he has attacked the 8th Day Special Creation only.

Being a rabid DeSantis-bot, I am sure you can’t understand that.

Exactly right. I’m truly amazed at how many Freepers are refusing to see this.

DeSantis took a swing at the king and missed badly. This isn’t good for anyone. DeSantis put his personal aspirations ahead of the good of the party and the country.

You nailed it. Sanctus miscalcuated by a mile, but since he hasn't officially announced he has a bit more rope. If he officially announces he's not running in 2024 he could still have a shot in '28.

That window is closing though. If he keeps playing footsie with the nomination, he'll be joining the exclusive club of permanent political cripples including Cruz, Rubio and Yeb, all sharing the same T-shape brand on their sitters.

Is Ron running or is his Political Action Committee running?

Ronnie is running a shadow campaign. After all he is the law and he sure does not have the dollars or confidence he can win.. this way he can cry ‘unfair’ crocodile tears when official candidates call him out on his duplicity…

One thing is certain, Trump did make a mistake pulling DeSantis’s bacon out of the fire when Ron almost lost to a drug addict homo.

“He should relocate Mar-A Loser to California where his good buddy Gavin Newsome is governor.”

“Wait, you got along with Gavin Newsom?!” Carlson shot back in astonishment. The host has long raged at Newsom and even recently warned on his broadcast that Newsom could be the Democrats’ 2024 contingency plan if President Joe Biden falters.

“He was always very nice to me. He said the greatest things. He would say things like ‘Oh, he’s doing a great job,’” Trump added. “That’s why I could never hit him because he was so nice to me.”

One of Trump’s claims to fame in politics is his slash-and-dash style in which he brutally rhetorically carpet bombs his foes. Even potential rivals that haven’t instigated a tiff with him, such as Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL), are often subject to his unpredictable ire.

Newsom has similarly taken aim at DeSantis, recently stopping in Florida during a broader tour of red states to rebut Republican’s policies. But he has repeatedly declined to unleash fire on Trump, the top Republican in 2024.

Everything with Trump is "whooz my fwenz and whooz my enemeez?"

Everyone around him knows the score--he is easily bought for a few shallow words of praise.

He's so booooring that he keeps packing arenas eight years after he first ran for President.

DeSantis would be lucky to fill up a high school gym.

He has plenty of RINO dollars backing him. They want Trump gone and DeSantis to be the guy to do it.

Ron has a lot to lose here. If he runs, and he falls on his face in the POTUS election to Biden, then he is done for good.

He can have the law rewritten to stay Gov during a campaign for POTUS and he better be super attentive to both or he will be forever ridiculed about being too self centered to care about his Governor job OR he can resign and and give his all to the POTUS race. If he beat Trump in the primary and loses in the general election, he will always be blamed for splitting the GOP vote and guaranteeing a Biden win.

Question to him is. Is it worth it when he could finish his job in Florida and run in 2028 as tentative frontrunner. He is young enough to still be young in 2028.

How dumb must those idiots feel about now?

After Trump got his hostage video/photo-op from them at Mar-A-Lago, he trashes the state they represent as a sh__hole using a Joy Reid press release

They have been taking crap for being gutless eunuchs and they deserve it

I wish DeSantis would hang around in FL and corral those new arrivals into the R column.

There is nothing that would be a bigger disaster than all these new Floridians from blue states, start to vote D.

He needs to stay home and take care of business.

Perfect. Trump knows how to get s### done ....

Sleepy Joe Biden is president. Trump didn’t get it done. If stealing elections was going to be a problem, he failed at getting it done.

I am tired of hearing how much he got done. If he causes us to lose the next election, it will more than offset anything positive he’s done.

People are sick of hearing his attacks — especially on republicans. Ronald Reagan had a rule about attacking republicans. I trust Reagan’s judgment far more.
