The windows will continue to be broken out b/c downtown Portland is lawless.
How soon before Shake Shack joins REI:
“Portland’s only REI store to close, citing crime and theft”
And Walmart:

That’s very sad. I wonder why so many knuckleheads gravitated to Portland. Sadly, the hard-working good citizens will have to seriously consider moving.

Not even the Crap Shack wants to be in Portland that was really dumb

Not that it’s already pretty far gone, but we’ll REALLY know Portland is toast when Powers Books goes bye-bye...or up in flames.

Yikes. Kids in a candy store? Do you live in the real world, Mark?
Thanks for making me feel my age! I can remember that feeling...25¢ could buy me enough candy to make me sick. Looking up at the counter and debating how many of each penny candies to buy. And then I wonder how long ago did that disappear? Maybe a half century?

I loved Powell’s. Gads but I spent money in that multistory “library” and I actually cried when I read it was destroyed by the by people who cared not a fig.

Shake Shack would be better off opening a franchise in Downtown Mogadishu!
Who decides these things? Is there ANYONE out there with a Business Degree of ANY kind these days? Yeesh!

Portland is worse than NYC. Shake Shack started in NYC and I have never heard of their restaurants being vandalized there. They must have 10-15 in NYC.

Portland was ruined by the TV comedy Portlandia. It showed how wonderful the city was and ruined it.
If you love your town or city, don’t let anyone do a TV show based on it.
Great times there before the vandals arrived.
