Reading her words rather than the interpretation by people, she’s talking about the evolution of the virus. New variants appeared and rendered invalid previous scientific evaluation of virus behavior.
The vaccine data was measured in the original clinical trials and those trials were challenged by the original virus. It was replaced by the alpha variant, and of course, the eventual much more deadly delta variant. In fact, there was mention in the clinical trials, particularly for J&J, that the samples being used from multiple countries risked that the virus variant types in the measurements would vary, because variants appeared at different times in different countries.
There is nothing in her words that warrants this running around waving hands over heads.
