Charges against Alec Baldwin have been dropped in the fatal on-set "Rust" shooting, according to sources familiar with the matter. Baldwin, 65, had been charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter after fatally shooting cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, 42, on the New Mexico set of the Western in October 2021.

I’d guess only a few Americans nowadays still think the U.S. Justice system is legitimate, fair and impartial.
It’s effing corrupt to the bone.
If nothing else he deserves to be inducted to the HALL OF FAME for ignorant stupid bastards. If for no other reason then leveling the gun and pulling the trigger on some one totally unrelated to this dumb movie, as there was absolutely no call for doing so, except for him just stupidly fooling around.
It is yet another Soros owned DA and a Soros owned State Attorney General. OF COURSE they are going to let their ally Baldwin off; He is one of the best known and vocal Trump haters, and a WEF member.
Of course they have.
If you’re wealthy, famous, have the right skin color or just well connected politically, the justice system works.
If your middle class or poor, you’d better watch your step and avoid getting caught up in their corrupt injustice system. And nowdays add in all these activist judges? You f***ed.
Rats can steal, cheat, and literally KILL without accountability. Anyone who thought this POSHIT was going to see jail time is Effin delusional. This people are gods in the eyes of juries! Lemme see here first jack sparrow, then that skin evil plastic butt face iron man’s wife and now this bastard. Hopefully the victim’s family will take this POS to the cleaners.
You have a solid point in my opinion too.
Didn’t the original local prosecutor just recently step down?
It’s good to be a leftist progressive.
I believe he settled with her family, but he should still be held criminally responsible for his failure to adhere to normal gun safety guidelines, and filmset mandated safety standards.
Ah, you’re right. A sealed settlement, and hubby was made an Exec Producer...I wonder if the armorer is off the hook too.
“The only “mistake” is that the victim wasn’t black.”
Yeah, but in this case the perpetrator is a high profile, out spoken, very liberal, Progressive who probably donates a lot to The Party.
So he skates.
I am only surprised it took the Prosecuting Attorney this long to ‘discover’ that Alec Baldwin is too big and important to be guilty
That is a complete and unjust travesty. Baldwin picked up the firearm, pointed it at Halyna Hutchins, and pulled the trigger. He murdered her. Unbelievable that he might get away with this.
Everybody’s been paid off, it’s as simple as that. Whether through insurance or other means, there is no one who could get on that stand now and weep for that woman. No tears, no conviction. That’s a damn shame.
He was able to skate because of his money$$ and connections.
If he were middle class or poor, they’d use the courts to destroy him criminally and financially.
You can hardly consider it breaking news if it was a foregone conclusion from the moment everything went down. Behold the face of true privilege: the Hollywood elite!
One word: Biden
Baldwin is part of the club. The woman he killed is not.
Ya think...?
(You and I would have already been in prison serving a long prison sentence.)
“Unbelievable, he pointed a gun at someone, pulled the trigger and killed someone.”
Interesting part is that Baldwin stated he didn’t pull the trigger. However, that’s why he was not charged with murder 2 but with involuntary manslaughter which could be the proper charge as the weapon was in his possession and it had to be aimed at the victim as it was not reported to be a glance off something.
So if the weapon was not in his possession, it wouldn’t make any difference to him whether it was loaded or not, or he hit the trigger or not. And that’s where his involvement is and he has to be directly responsible for the outcome of the charge accident or not.
