Will they fine Hillary and the Democrats for stating the 2016 elections were rigged?

That is why I am concerned.

There was a lot of chatter that the 2016 election was stolen, but saying so is free speech. Now saying the 2020 election is stolen will land you with massive fines and possible jail time.

Same with saying that a biological female is a thing, and not a decision.

We have slid into a new totalitarian regime, and no one on either side of the aisle is that concerned about it.

“Will they fine Hillary and the Democrats for stating the 2016 elections were rigged?”

The problem there is that Lindell made an offer, and someone picked him up on it and made the more persuasive argument. Thus, a contract was created by the offer and acceptance, and Lindell has to abide by it and pay what he promised.

If Hillary Clinton made such an offer, and it entered into a contract accordingly, I've not heard about it. If she did, and it went against her, she'd have to pay up, as well. She's scum, but she's not naiive.

Did you all even read this article? He made a contract to pay $5 million to anyone who could prove his data was bogus. It was proven to be bogus. Therefore, he must pay. What it says right in the excerpt.

In order to sue someone you have to be wronged. Saying “the election was rigged,” whether you’re talking about the election of 1960, 2016, or 2020, isn’t actionable.

If, on the other hand, someone says, “You, Joe Blow, rigged the election,” then you, Joe Blow, have a claim.

This isn’t a fine.

Lindell offered up a challenge to prove him wrong. Somebody did.

“Lindell, who promised to pay the $5 million award to anyone who could debunk his data...”

When you promise to pay someone if they do X, you’d better be prepared to pay it. This isn’t a free speech issue. It is what happens when you promise to pay someone.
