A lot of what passes for "black history" is actually mighty thin gruel. They never cease to "puff up" their résumés history. Lately it's been claimed that the Negro didn't even invent peanut butter.

Many years ago, I found a book (in a University library!) that had been published by one of the Black Supremacist groups.

It contained pictures and drawings of various Egyptian monuments, statues of Pharaohs, etc., that were characterized as ‘proof’ that the ancient Egyptians were Black.

Most of the pictures were misattributed, and anyone with any attentive interest in ancient Egyptian art would have seen that. The book was just propaganda.

Speaking of “puffed up”, I am still mildly amused that it can’t be just ‘Martin King’, it has to be “The Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Junior’
