One of Bragg's charges against President Trump is mislabeling campaign spending as legal expenses.

Bragg's charge does not even make it to the misdemeanor level unless he can show the records were falsified with "intent to defraud". But who was he intending to defraud? Maybe Bragg would want to say the voters were defrauded into electing Trump in the 2016 election under false pretenses. Now this is very weak to start with, but it totally gets destroyed by the little detail that the invoice and payments were made AFTER the election took place. So who was defrauded? I can't think of anybody and Bragg doesn't say anymore than he says what the other crime was that was supposedly committed to raise it to a felony.

Bragg has failed to even specify a coherent theory as to how Trump could be guilty of even the misdemeanor charge!

Of course!

But this is about charging Elias with the same thing as President Trump. Remember Elias was hired by the DNC in 2020 to change election laws to influence the outcome favorably to Democrats, and but he billed it all as legal expenses.

Was Elias defrauding the voter by hiding his expenses?
