Donald Trump took Disney World's side in the company's war with Ron DeSantis He suggested that the company could move out Florida amid the conflict Walt Disney Co. is a massive donor to pro-Trump America First Action Donald Trump has urged Disney to leave Florida in a move that would be a financial 'killer' for Ron DeSantis.
The former president said the Florida Governor and potential 2024 presidential rival is being 'destroyed' by the Magic Kingdom and claimed his 'original P.R. plan fizzled'.
He said the corporation could start selling properties and moving money out of the state in the feud over who has control over the Reedy Creek Improvement District.
Meanwhile, Walt Disney Co. donated a whopping $10.5 million to Trump’s America First Action in the 2020 election cycle, according to Open Secrets.
In the most recent escalation in the war with Disney, DeSantis threatened to build a prison next to the theme park as payback.
'DeSanctus is being absolutely destroyed by Disney,' Trump claimed in a Truth Social post on Tuesday morning, seeming to employ a shorter version of his usual nickname 'DeSanctimonious'.
'His original P.R. plan fizzled, so now he's going back with a new one in order to save face,' he added of DeSantis. 'Disney's next move will be the announcement that no more money will be invested in Florida because of the Governor - In fact, they could even announce a slow withdrawal or sale of certain properties, or the whole thing. Watch! That would be a killer.'

DeSantis takes Disney money, then goes after then for their support of grooming.
Trump takes Disney money, then defends them from DeSantis' actions against grooming.
Trump also took Bud Light money and now defends them via his son.
Enjoy your vote for a bought and paid for Trump.

As well he should be. DeSantis is a Republican. He should know better. Biden is a rat. We don't expect much from rats. So-called Conservatives should know & act better.
Trump did many great things but he always reverts to trying to earn the appreciation of the NY Times and media crowd which he will never get. He showed this in his hiring of Wray at FBI, Tillertson at State, Bolton as NSC, some military types to run the WH who openly despised him, and many others who did not belong in his Administration and who did their level best to screw things.
Really? That’s interesting, because that’s exactly what he’s done in the State of Florida.
Just as I was about to forget the last stupid thing he said, he comes up with this.
It would cost Disney about $40 Billion to relocate Disney World. It ain’t gonna happen. But maybe they could sell it to Cedar Fair.
And I don't want to hear any of this crap from his die-hard supporters about how I don't get Trump's appeal to the working class. My old man was a textile factory worker and my mother worked in a restaurant. They had four kids and as a family, we barely scraped by.
As little as they had, they knew the value of politeness, decorum, simple courtesy, being respectful, and above all trying to better themselves. Every note my mom ever wrote to school she proofread 10 times to make sure it sounded okay. She didn't have a lot of formal education and was always self-conscious about it.
All four of their kids went to college, one became a doctor. Being working class doesn't mean you embrace acting like a vulgarian or spouting off like a damn fool all the time. As a matter of fact, I'm betting most of them think it's pretty trashy and it wears thin on them over time--especially when it comes from a billionaire with a bad spray tan

If you think Trump was better than Reagan, the mainstream media has really gotten to you. At least Reagan fought the Democrats, not just let them control everything.
Trump didn’t tell Disney to move out of Florida anymore than DeSantis threatened to build a prison next to Disney World.
But hyperbole aside, Trump is simply pointing out the truth of the matter. Disney is not going to just give up without a fight. DeSantis is making empty threats that would be difficult to pull off and which would have negative unintended consequences if he were successful.
DeSantis has either not bothered to think this through, or more likely, he’s just engaging in a war of words with Disney, for the sake of optics.

That was the minor point. We’ve all messed up on little things. The major issue is that Trump is taking the side of Disney.
I really don't.
We’ve always been a bit gullible toward headlines and reluctant to read whole articles. But some of us have learned over the years. Might be a few deep-state plants chiming in on some threads as well.
Now his son is telling us to support the Trans agenda, because the Trump family makes money off it.
Trump keeps trying to destroy my support for him. Many are the times when I wish he’d just STFU on certain topics. He just can’t stop. He’s gonna get us another DemocRAT president and a for sure civil war.
Only if people buy into the hyperbole. Trump’s actual statements are a far cry from what’s claimed in the headline. He didn’t tell Disney they should move out of Florida. He merely pointed out the obvious - that Disney COULD start to sell off some of their Florida assets if they wanted to and that DeSantis has gotten himself into a war he’s not likely to win.
