Not just smoke.AI is potentially the most dangerous technology ever created. Having it regulated by the government makes me very nervous after what we've seen over the last few years. Congress should pass an absolute prohibition against it having physical control of anything. Use it for research purposes only.

“Just smoke.”
**************

Are you kidding AI will be one of the most disruptive technologies yet. Just as automation continues taking away blue collar jobs AI will destroy white collar jobs to an even greater extent. Pichai mentions a radiologist consulting with AI lol there would be no need for a radiologist at all with AI. AI can examine imaging well beyond what any radiologist could. AI could easily out perform all human doctors too. Lots of white collar professionals would become superfluous.

Sorry you are wrong.
I have been following Silicon Valley on this for 15 years.
It is very real and only Americans refusing to embrace it will stop it.

The first task they have in mind for it is to search the internet for opposition news and then have the sites removed from the internet.

Google controls 90% of the server farms so all it would take is the will to do it.
