I would also suggest that the author is using a poor example of eminent domain abuse here. The state isn’t looking to take land from private property owners to accommodate the Ford EV plant, but to build a series of new roadways.

The value of the property is certainly worthy of dispute, but acquiring land to build a public road is one of the most benign and non-controversial applications of eminent domain power you’ll find today.
