Bluntly I hate the race checkbox in the consensus. It hides real cultural differences.
Heck a white skinned person in Harlem has more in common with his neighbours than with a white skinned person in Connecticut.
And similarly a black skinned person in Louisiana has more in common with their neighbours than eith a black person from Senegal or a black person from Manhattan.
We should ask for ethnic origin if at all. And definitely about family wealth and earnings. That latter would give more useful data to help the poor rise out of poverty
I hate all of those type of checkboxes to and refuse to mark them off if I camn get away with it.
