Former Director of National Intelligence and U.S. Ambassador to Germany Ric Grenell called on Republican presidential candidates to drop out of the race and endorse former President Donald Trump following the grand jury indictment of the 45th president Thursday night.
Grenell joined Rob Schmitt Tonight on Newsmax soon after the news and called on former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy to withdraw from the race and other Republicans to abstain from entering. Addressing any viewer “who has been maybe a DeSantis supporter or a Nikki Haley supporter or a Vivek supporter,” Grenell said:
Look, I think that it’s really important to understand what Democrats are doing to Republicans. And you’re naive to think that this is just about Donald Trump. This is about every single Republican; anyone who challenges the power of the Democrats. And so I think… all the other Republican candidates should drop out tonight. They should announce their support for Donald Trump. We should unify as a party and say we are not going to allow this to happen to the United States of America.
I think for the people who maybe have been on the fence about Trump, maybe they don’t like mean tweets or something, I think they have to understand that you have to stop asking Donald Trump to be a nice guy because nice guys are what the Democrats want. They want us as Republicans to take this high road and they don’t want a fighter. They don’t want someone who is going to come in and change the system. So they keep calling for someone presidential or something and I think they’ve got to stop.
Grenell also predicted that every future former president would be indicted for one reason or another.

It’s plain as day and still people think this about policies and politics. It’s not! Way beyond.
Kim jong un lured away from Chi-coms,by Trump negotiations in Singapore- stopped lobbing missiles and as proof (trying to separate from client state of the Chi-Coms) later apparently- the Chi-Coms infected Kim with Covid. He disappeared to his “resort” on his armoured train for some 3 months. When he came out for photo op he really looked like crap— post infection (pretty sure Trump sent him monoclonals and other state of the art meds).
The Chi-Coms concomitantly promoted Kim’s absolutely vicious psycho sister to “stand in” for him. She has faded from her fanatic pro ChiCom prominence and fairly “disappeared” (possibly because Kim had her put away)
I think this is the actual reality: to convince any Trump supporter not to vote for Trump is to convince them not to vote.
Grenell was, and continues to be one of the best Trump picks.
He will fit well at any cabinet position in a potential Trump Administration.

If there actually is a deepstate, Grenell is it. I know this first hand. He (and Trump) chose not to release compelling evident the Saudi govt directly aided the 9/11 hijackers. I got this directly from the people who met with him. He’s a fraud just like the rest of them.

Guts and resources Trump definitely had as president, brains not so much.
His judgment in choosing the right people for the right job is abysmal, and he even took into consideration Democrats & RINOs in giving us that political hack, Christopher Wray as FBI director,
By the way, I haven’t heard anyone in my circle say they’ve decided to vote for Trump because he was indicted.
The liberal pollsters are pushing Trump this time, because they don’t think he is as electable this time as DeSantis would be in the general election.
If Trump is the GOP nominee, everyone I know will vote for him over a DemonRat, but I don’t believe he will be the nominee.
Well, when you consider how many of his staff could take working for the guy, you have to wonder what’s wrong with Grinell.
