I know this is not a popular consensus here, but I think all this is great political theater for Donald Trump. A real “please don’t throw me in that Briar-patch” moment. If Trump cannot find a way to make major political points out of the situation, I would be surprised.

(Donald Trump is a setting sun. Ron DeSantis is a rising star.)

This will strengthen the support that DJT's fans have for him and it will strengthen the level of hatred in his delusional haters. My gut tells me that this won't convince anyone in GA/PA/MI/WI or AZ that voted for him in '16 and didn't in '20 to vote for him next year.
Add to that the voter fraud that Rat Party Headquarters has mastered in the last couple of years and I fear that DJT is done politically.Unless,or course,he wants to run in '28.

Yup, I agree.
President Trump is a great strategizer who has probably already look at this scenario 9 ways to Sunday and has figured out how best to take advantage of this scenario in such a way has provides him the most Media Coverage and helps his campaign.
He is that smart!
