Vice President Kamala Harris gave a stern warning about the "existential threat" of climate change while speaking with farmers in Africa.
Harris, visiting Panuka Farm in Zambia on Saturday, thanked the farmers for a tour of their facilities and demonstrations of their work before turning the conversation to the climate.
"The impact of the climate crisis is unmistakable, and without any question in my mind, poses an existential threat to the entire planet," the vice president said.

"The relevance of the topic as a global priority, as it relates to this continent, also includes the fact that the continent of Africa and the nations of Africa really are some of the lowest emitters in terms of greenhouse gas emissions — but are paying some of the highest costs," Harris said.
Harris is in Zambia as part of a week-long visit to the African continent.
Her visit to Panuka Farm is intended to bring attention to climate-resilient agriculture and food security amid unpredictable climate change.

Why should we worry? We’ll have bugs in the trillions. Bugs will do what bugs do — reproduce. You cannot have a more secure food supply than bugs.
When I was a kid quite a few decades ago growing up in the same area that I live in now... we used to have very pleasant Spring Vacations and Easters. We were running around outside looking for Easter Eggs in short sleaves and light clothing. This morning it is 35 degrees out with rain and mixed snow... the same as yesterday and the same as what is predicted for tomorrow. And this has been going on most of the time for the past few years. Where we live it is now colder than it was when I was a kid especially in the Spring and Fall. Yet we have these brain-dead idiots screaming constantly about how global warming is killing the planet.
Preaching climate change to African farmers? That’s like selling mass transit in Wyoming. Except much worse.

Climate is constantly changing over the centuries. The Sahara used to be a meadow land and dried up long before the fear of “Climate Change caused by humans” ever existed.
Most the African nations know the climate change stuff is just hot air. They have to survive on rare earth minerals and oil needed by us.
They were also not fooled by the scary virus.
So those African natives need to stop using so much electricity and not eat so much. Nice message for bush people. I am sure she was well received.
