The following photo didn't prove anything, but provided one piece of evidence relating to other allegations which were made about these two people, which were later investigated, and, after further investigation, those allegations were later confirmed by other (DNA) evidence.
We know that Chansley was charged with violent entry. We know that he pled guilty. We know from the video that he was not being violent, but just nonchalantly strolling through the Capitol, led and escorted by Capitol police, so the charges were not true. We've been told that he has been released from jail to a halfway house. We know that his second lawyer excoriated his first lawyer, for not ensuring that his client was afforded all his American rights, with access to all exculpatory evidence.
With all that knowledge, I believe further (honest) investigation is warranted here, and we should find out the truth about which "protesters" were real ones, and which ones were fake ones.
