Glad it mitigated a worse tragedy. Something will have to be done about the shooters shooting out glass to enter though. Plus armed guards.

For smaller schools I think armed teachers would work just as well.

An armed guard is going to be completely out of reach for small private schools.

Doors that can not be defeated with bullets and a staff who can fight back would make the target much harder.

Agree, bullet proof glass should be installed. The initial cost will be well worth it. At least two armed security guards, preferably retired military or police. The hardened class room doors worked well but she was still able to enter rooms/offices once inside the school. I would think that an automatic door locking system would be appropriate. It should be activated as soon as a breach is detected on an exterior door.
