In Wisconsin, that would be a ‘Culver’s.’ The place is awesome. It’s the ONLY ‘fast food’ place we will eat when we’re short on time or on the road.

I agree! We don’t generally go to fast food places; but in a pinch we sometimes go to Culvers: No other fast food places.

Whenever we travel to Eastern Washington, we go to Miner's Drive-in in Yakima, for their huge hamburgers and delicious fries with free refills on fountain drinks. They've been around since 1948:

I tried a burger for lunch at Culver’s in MN. a year or two ago. Was highly disappointed.
I’ll stick with the local bar burgers, they know how to do it right.
