Sure doesn’t look like these officers were trained in Uvalde.
No hesitation, even as they rushed toward gun fire.
No hand sanitizers necessary.
That was generally text-book. It was not pretty but it was effective and it looks like they went in with what they had instead of waiting for SWAT even if some of them were probably SWAT or SWAT trained.
They moved quickly, secured/blocked doors that were locked because they had enough people (control the ground you take if you have enough people), they moved with clear direction from the officer directing the movement, and they quickly flowed towards the shooter who was (allegedly) focused on the officers outside through the window. They sped up down a long hall towards the shots immediately bypassing unknown threats for the known one - that is important.
My heart is broken for the families but I also pray for these officers who went through it - it does not get much worse than this and stays with you forever.
