Yes, 14 months ago the world saw the Russian military and Ukrainian as totally different.
It was shocking to see Russia brought down to desperation while everyone thought that Ukraine could only survive for a few days or weeks.
What is shocking about Ukraine is that this is the 14th month they have survived against mighty Russia, it is not shocking that they are desperately struggling to do so.
But many people were also surprised when Russia beat Napoleon and Hitler.
As Bismark said, "Russia is never as strong or as weak as she appears."
It seems one can never be certain of the outcome when fighting Russia.
I’d be more impressed if they hadn’t received years worth of Russia’s annual military budget in weapons and handouts from the West to just stay afloat.
How long would they have survived without the foreign welfare?
The Ukraine is just a proxy for NATO. The combined forces of NATO are fighting Russia and losing, using Ukrainians as canon fodder and photo ops. No one seems to care that NATO is putting the Ukraine and its infrastructure into the woodchipper as it battles Russia.
Ukraine has some help, no?
