All students will be required to attend a “mandatory half-day session … on the topic of freedom of speech and the norms of the legal profession.”

I'm sure that 1/2 day session will prevent a "heckler's veto" from happening again.
Should be required in every school that gets Federal dollars for every freshman class.
That’ll show ‘em...
I agree - but far more than 1/2 day session. Students are required to take an entire semester class of “ethnic studies” - my son took one on Asians - as a condition of graduation.
Should be a semester-long, mandated class - with oversight as to the content so it isn’t hijacked by lefties that run the universities now. They would rattle on about “hate speech” not being protected by the First Amendment - with “hate speech” being defined as anything they say it is.
Well, it is a start. They should also be put on probation for a year or until they graduate. And required to politely attend all 1st amendment speakers. Maybe invite Trump to speak?
Perhaps a good old fashioned harsh life lesson is required. One way or another, sooner, but probably later, that will happen.
New law schools are clearly needed.
Also, law school should not be so expensive.
The class will be taught by a militant low IQ DEI specialist. These people are full of hatred for white people.
The Telegraph:
Judges refuse to hire ‘woke’ Yale graduates amid cancel culture row
"A dozen senior US judges have promised a hiring boycott of graduates of Yale Law School in response to claims of "cancel culture" at the prestigious institution, accusing it of undermining free speech and intellectual diversity...."
Sure hope they include Virginia State Board of Pharmacy v. Virginia Citizens Consumer Council, Inc., 425 U.S. 748 (1976). In commercial speech, the First Amendment includes the Right to Hear. Just think about all the Pfizer, Moderna, Ivermectin, etc. speech that was shut down and “disappeared”.
Along with a mandatory transfer to community college to learn basic civics before applying to be reinstated.
> “ethnic studies” class.
Do they have one on the Irish?
They’ll instantly begin creating a ruckus at these half-day sessions which will require that they attend a full-day session. That’ll learn ‘em.

I’ll be required to attend the double-posting session.
“You can’t say that here, this is Free-Speech Training!”
What a joke. It might be more instructive for Stanford Law to re-evaluate its low admissions standards, starting with banning septum rings, purple hair, and emotional twelve year olds.
Get rid of this position:

Forget training the students. The faculty needs fixing.
