Looking over the horizon, if China invades Taiwan and the U.S. destroys the chip plants, just what would the Chi-Com response be? I see lots of dead people on our shores. Do you think they’re just going to sit back and take it? Naive to the Nth power.

But them having that in their control, would be equally, if not worse. I tend to lead towards worse.
Like I said, moving that technology there to begin with was the stupid move. For now it creates an untenable situation when threatened. There's no good choices, only bad ones.
Now I learned they are building a facility in Phoenix, Az. But it will not be operational until 2025, which may be too late.
