AUSTIN –– Transportation Security Administration chief David Pekoske said the agency wants to use technology to reduce the number of screening officers in checkpoints and speed up travel processes as passenger volumes increase.
At Tuesday’s panel at South by Southwest, which focused on accelerating aviation security, he boasted about the agency’s computed tomography technology and biometrics. Despite struggling with staffing a year ago, Pekoske said that nearly 2.4 million people are screened on a given day by TSA. Pekoske said that TSA’s purpose is to make sure it maintains its security and transportation system at the same time, while staying several steps ahead of threats.
“It’s critically important that this system has as little friction as it possibly can, while we provide for safety and security,” Pekoske said.
Biometric technology, such as facial recognition, is increasingly being used in TSA’s identity verification process. Newer technology the agency is using is more than 99% effective. He said it hasn’t found any problems with passengers with darker complexions, like older technology once did.
At the forefront of the agency’s mission is to make sure it is transparent with the public about what information is being taken from a passenger, how long TSA will keep the information and for what purpose the agency plans to use the information, Pekoske said.
“We’re upgrading our camera systems all the time, upgrading our lighting systems,” Pekoske said. “(We’re) upgrading our algorithms, so that we are using the very most advanced algorithms and technology we possibly can.”

Flying out of BWI a few weeks ago the TSA line had a camera taking everyones pictures. I handed the agent my ID and she asked me to look into the screen for the photo. I moved sideways out of the field of view and asked if I had to. She said no and I went on my way. Sign said some new program being tested.
Mfers.

I do not trust these deep state types. Turn the process back to the airlines.

If the ruling class and elites had to use commercial carriers instead of private jets, the stress would be discontinued from air travel.

I have to ask what is really on our minds. Is there really a terrorist threat against air transport today? Does TSA really serve a purpose that does not include tracking the American people?

I submit the goal is to track the movement of any person, anywhere on the globe.
Automated License Plate Readers.....etc.

Yes, and it's cool stuff. I admit. Notice the woman placing her cellphone next to the scanner. That way she can just walk out after her RFID-tagged items (or optically-scanned) are selected. (IBM was promoting RFID-tagged products).
You know, a plastic card uses up petroleum products. That will make Saint Greta the Doom Goblin very angry, so why not a tattoo on the right hand or the forehead? Yikes.
Revelation 14 has all the answers on which is the right choice. I'm a pre-tribber, but I still put this info out there, for the world to read. The published Word of God will not return unto Him without serving His purpose in some way.
====
Revelation 14:9-12 King James Version (KJV)
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
====
(now this part just talks about them (eventually reigning) during the Millennial Reign of Christ)
Revelation 20:4 King James Version (KJV)
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Well, I think that one intends for one to pay.
But yeah, there was a lot of “walk out shopping” without paying.....so.......yeah
I expect the above systems (or something similar) will become pervasive throughout all of society.
It WILL reduce theft. It WILL increase surveillance and tyranny.
Then, try to shop after some lackey turns off your “Digital Currency” - we are all.....so....(wait for it).....Laz
The Digital Dollar will save us! Yeah, That’s the ticket!
(worth it to watch just the first 17 minutes - there will be no way to “prosper”, though)
