Trump made the comments speaking in an interview with Rob Schmitt.
"No, I think that would be a very unlikely alliance," Trump told Friday's "Rob Schmitt Tonight" in a phone interview, when asked if he would consider DeSantis as a potential running mate.
"I've never thought of it," Trump told host Rob Schmitt. "We have a lot of great people in the Republican Party. I've never thought of it; but you know some people every once in awhile mention it, but that's about it."
DeSantis told Newsmax one night prior he is "an executive guy," suggesting he is a leader and not a follower of Trump, but Trump was incredulous DeSantis has moved on from a former GOP alliance.

I said the day Trump endorsed her that I see nothing but RINO tendencies in her. She seems to be less of one than I thought but she could very well be no better than the 80% in the GOP with RINO tendencies. That being said, she is as gifted a natural politician as Slick Clinton in his prime. In my opinion, there’s no one else Trump could pick who would help with the female vote nearly as much as she would. Have you seen her on the campaign stump? I have no higher policy expectations of her than I do for that other 80%. Nothing else matters but getting Trump back in the White House. She’s our best bet to help get that done. That’s why I support her as VP. Who do you think would help Trump with women more than she would?

Trump turned the entire country over to Fauci n birx and gave billions to big pharma while blaming the deep state bogeyman. Dr Scott Atlas and many many others were calling for reasonable actions, but big pharma gets billions anfd everyone of us suffered.

President Trump did well his first term, until he failed to respect the results of the election. That was his downfall. Some of the foolish people who listened to his rants are in federal prisons for years. Did he pardon them before he left office ? No, he used and abandoned them.
