Finally someone cuts from the UMC?
These people have long been liberal apologists at least the whole ‘90s. I was a member of American Family Assoc. from then to about 15 years ago, and their founder was a UMC pastor who reported a lot on the blasphemy of his denomination then.
Glad to hear a big congregation overwhelmingly voting to lead e these apostates.
Dis-affiliation is a VERY BIG “thing” in the UMC!

Within this calendar year a minimum of 50% of United Methodist churches will disassociate from the denomination. This is about the ordination of homosexuals and their marriages. The conflict, however, goes much deeper.
For many decades the administrative authority of the UMC has been secularized, dismissing the authority of scripture and the centrality of the Body of Christ. Membership has long languished in its enslavement by an episcopacy that has disregarded their concerns.
