NEOCON ALERT: Ron DeSantis Steals ‘Gas Station’ Talking Point From John McCain on Russia and Vladimir Putin
Big League Politics ^ | Mar 24, 2023 | Shane Trejo

A new video from the Trump War Room shows how Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is following in the footsteps of failed neocon losers like John McCain and Mitt Romney.

A recent talking point used by DeSantis, comparing the country of Russia to a “gas station” for some bizarre reason, was taken directly from the mouth of McCain, who used the line as he pushed for Western intervention in the country that has eventually led to this terrible war costing thousands of lives and billions in U.S. taxpayer dollars.

The damning video can be seen here:

It should come as no surprise that DeSantis is recycling neocon clichés and talking points to push a more aggressive, ‘America Last’ foreign policy considering who is bankrolling him.

Liberals are so darned poor at parody. OK, they’re darned poor at almost everything. Except lying and grifting.
Death to the left.

“Republican Sen. John McCain, who in 2014 from the Senate floor said Russia was “a gas station masquerading as a country.”

Same goes for the Arab oil producers. Face it. Russia is a dumbass tyranny of a country. They should sell their oil and gas and shut the h__ up!

But these billions of dollars rolling in was not good enough for Tsar Vlad aka degenerate, bumbling clown. Who hates Russians so much, he sent 100,000 to their doom in Ukraine. For his vainglorious war.

I can’t help but observe. If it’s a gas station masquerading as a country. We sure are going to a lot of trouble to gain operational control of that gas station.

“The problem is that he’s flat broke, relatively speaking … so if his handlers and financial backers tell him to run in 2024, he has no choice but to do whatever the hell he’s told to do.”

Likely the case, but what kind of future does he now have? While one can argue whether he’s on the right or wrong side of Ukraine, the fact that he TOTALLY FLIPPED on the most important issue facing the country is lethal to any candidate.

With Trump, too, I suspect most of Trump’s supporters didn’t expect much from DeSantis, but kicking him when he’s down leaves a TERRIBLE TASTE in their mouths (me included), that will not go away for as long as my memory holds up (or my wife’s, since we have mail-in voting here).

Especially given the war on carbon that the Democrats otherwise have.

I reported on this very site, last year, that this guy was not what he was being made out to be.
People on this very site, called me everything but a white man.

I will patiently wait for my apologies.

If the Russians hadn’t signed the 1939 Non-Aggression Pact with Hitler and abrogated their 1932 non-aggression pact with Poland, they might never have had to fight Hitler.

But then they couldn’t have stabbed Poland in the back, stolen half of Poland’s territory, gobbled up the Baltics and attacked Finland either, could they?

And the Soviets wouldn’t ally with Britain or France, because they wouldn’t let the Soviets have half of Poland.

So the Soviets decided to make the deal with Hitler, because he would give them half of Poland.

Some freepers need to get over the naivete.

words of McLame and most politicians are not their own. They are lines to parrot. Those lines have been focus group tested. They were written by some low level staffer or voluntee. But the senior staffer takes credit for them. Nobody in the know gives most poliicians credit for their own lines.

Two exceptions come to mind: Ronal Reagan and his humor...I won’t make an issue of my opponent’s youth and inexperience.

Tump. No staffer in their right mind would have Trump say what comes out of his mouth.

But McLame? the ultimate dependent of his staff.

In that short post you covered most of their minor tech glory and notice how it is all military?

Why do you think those backward people have so little to sell outside of things they get out of the ground?

You nailed it. DS is simply saying what his GOPe handlers are telling him to say. And almost everyone now is on to it...almost everyone.

We are trying to take over Russia?

You think they should emulate castrating boys and mutilating girls, facilitate drug and human smuggling, & immediately free criminals to go forth and destroy again like we do in this country? Or is this list too short for your tastes?

Like I said, it is myopic and egotistical thinking that blinds rational thought. Need a dictionary?

And younger tech people and intelligentsia have been streaming out of Russ since the invasion. My guess is up to 50%. Fake Tsar Putin is bad for business.
