It's worse even than that. Around election time 2022, Trump started flinging poo at Governor DeSantis for no good reason, and the whole troop of monkeys joined in.

It reminds me of the communist Big Media creeps all using the same talking points and phrases at exactly the same time.

No-one here is exactly what he appears.

Actually, that was the time when persistent rumors began surfacing of major GOP donors and political insiders lining up behind DeSantis for a 2024 presidential run.

Interestingly, one of the biggest flaws DeSantis has is that he really can't say no to these donors and insiders even if he wants to. The circumstances seem ideal for a 2028 run for him, but because he's an Ivy League lawyer who has never worked outside government, he's (relatively speaking) flat broke and must do whatever his handlers tell him to do -- even if it means tossing his hat into the ring for a less-than-ideal 2024 campaign.

If you were paying attention, you would have noticed that the trigger for Trump’s attack was the report that DeSantis was meeting with the likes of Paul Ryan, the Kochs, Bushes, etc. to explore a presidential run. Absolutely nothing good can ever come from having those creeps backing you, and the fact that he has fallen in with them slaps a big red warning flag on DeSantis and his judgment going forward. It also strongly implies that his personal ambition is starting to blind him to what is best for the country. There’s no way to overstate the cloud that being backed by the establishment weasels casts over DeSantis now. He “chose poorly” indeed.

I like DeSantis and was excited about the prospect of him following Trump in 2028, but how easily he has been seduced by the worst of the RINO establishment types really taints him now. They only care about using DeSantis to foil Trump. If that mission was accomplished, they wouldn’t even really care whether DeSantis went on to win or not, and would certainly severely neuter him if he did win. They only care about maintaining the D.C. insiders’ club, and it’s looking like DeSantis can’t wait to become its newest member.
