If all the cars in Calif were electric, the demand for electricity would triple. There is no plan to provide anything close to that.
Are you sure “tripled”?
From what I’ve read (not researched), it is that if all cars in all of the USA were to be electric, then electricity consumption would increase from 25% to 40%.
I could assume that may mean for California it would be 50% more, but not triple. Where did you get that “triple” from?
