DC Draino on DeSantis: (I was very let down. Not even for 2024, but for 2028. That he would cower like this.) "How is he gonna jump up to the big leagues? Or lead us through WW3?"

DC Draino on DeSantis: "How is he gonna jump up to the big leagues? Or lead us through WW3?"

Bannon: Talk to me about your assessment of Ron DeSantis. He had the whole weekend to work on this. What is your assessment on how he pulled it off today?

DC: I think it's a tough day when you get outflanked to the right by Kevin McCarthy, which was very suprising. I haven't said a bad thing about DeSantis despite being an open Trump supporter, endorsing him for 2024. But today was the first day that I let loose.

I was very let down. Not even for 2024, but for 2028. That he would cower like this and not rise to the moment. This is a slam dunk. This one is so easy like I said even Kevin McCarthy has gotten it right. I got to give him a lot of credit lately.

But I went back and I looked at what DeSantis said when the FBI raided Mar-A-Lago. I'm pretty sure he had a tough stance there and he said:

"The raid of Mar-A-Lago (he tweeted it that night, didn't wait 72 hours) is another escalation of the weaponization of federal agencies against the Regime's political opponents while people like Hunter Biden get treated with kid gloves. Now the Regime is getting another 87k IRS agents to wield against its adversaries? Banana Republic."

That's Ron DeSantis! What we heard today was Paul Ryan. That was Paul Ryan. That was the donor class. That was a terrible time to take a cheap shot at President Trump. No matter who is the lead Republican candidate they are going to come up with crazy salacious porn star accusations they can against anybody. Look at what they did to Mitt Romney. The guy has never even drank a beer.

So just a big letdown today and I hope he comes back from this. The one thing on the plus side to come out today is that Florida has a great governor for the next 4 years without any risk of him leaving.

Bannon: DC, Is he now totally controlled by the consultants and the big donors? Because that's clearly what it was. How did that happen over the last couple months? Walk me through because as you guys are in Florida, I am very high on him as governor. But walk me through what happened here.

DC: I think they got to him. I think that was the biggest letdown today because I saw what happened and I know this guy. Like I said I want President Trump in 2024 but I said that's not Ron.

And If he will take a knee in an easy slam dunk situation like this, how is he going to jump up to the big leagues? How is he going to lead us through WW3? How is he going to dissasemble the deep state? How is he going to withstand the onslaught of lawsuits and endictments and accusations when you're actually the guy in charge?

And now that was the biggest letdown because we haven't seen that in Florida. We haven't seen him back down like this.

And frankly I think it's just him going on his Presidential Tour across the country eventhough he is technically not because he is still governor. But just trying to play to the donor class, play to the middle is just terrible advice.

When he sticks to his instincts he is on fire. He doesn't need 72 hours to prepare a statement. He can go right then and there. He knows the right answer. This was, "Hey, Ron, you gotta finally hit back at him." Terrible advice, terrible timing. And two, "You gotta call this a sideshow."

If President Trump treated his request for an endorsement in 2018 as a sideshow we'd have a methhead as governor of Florida right now. But he didn't.

This is war. This is a war against a Marxist invasion of our government. We need all hands on deck, boots on the ground every step of the way. Because otherwise these political persecutions are going to metastasize and they are going to come after each and every one of us. Just like they already have been.

LOL. The more the left bash DeSantis, the more people are looking at him.

We didn’t think McCarthy would come around, and I think he pretty much has. We’ll see if he can keep that up.

For now. Matt Gaetz is keeping him honest. If Republicans win more seats in 2024, McCarthy can ignore Gaetz by then and cut deals with RINOs (and Democrats).

Hey RINO , listen up

\/

Ron repeated the slur, that was unnecessary,

and eclipsed his attack on the scumbag New York crowd.

Trump didn’t say anthing other than a warning

of the kind of crap scumbags will accuse ron of

and all you Rinos know that damned well.

Spit.

I like Ron a lot, really like the punches he has delivered the scumbag left.

But rubbing shoulders with the Rinos

as he did with repeating the slur accusations

lost him a lot of conservative good will.

Better realize who your real enemies are ron,

and kick those ear tickling RINO turds to the curb ,

or if you do win the nomination
you will lose a lot of votes you could of had...

and those RINO turds
will turn on you and stab you in the back
just like they did trump.

You can still salvage things ron,

but one more RINO induced misstep like this

and there will be no coming back from it.

You cannot win without our votes even if you win the primary.

And we will not just kiss and make up if you continues crap moves like this one.

I don’t think Trump is going to let up on primarying members
or the Republican team when it is clearly called for.

If he does as well as hey did this time, McCarthy may have
even less support. Lets hope so.

McCarthy is a politician. Remember that. He wants the job and the perks that goes along with it. He'll be a conservative only if it suits him at the time.

DeSantis is unfortunately is rapidly becoming a mirror image of Crenshaw from Texas. Too bad.. he came off as a bad ass in the beginning only to show his true cowering colors by not defending the base. Because after all the attacks are not against Trump, it’s against the conservative base. And you mark my words they are going to milk tomorrow if there is a small group of protesters there… I guarantee you antifa, the FBI, the DOJ already have a plan to cause some sort of riot on the conservatives. DeSantis should’ve been more forceful with his words against the DA and everything they’re doing unjustly against a man that in reality is a punching bag to them.

Well, he’s going to want support again in two years. I don’t
think he expected what happened this time.

They really put him through hell > IMO.

He had to agree to some things or he wasn’t getting that
support. He’s on thin ice until 2024. (I think)

We’ll see.

DeSantis owes AMERICA to stand up against the perversion of the Justice system, instead, he couldn’t resist taking a cheap shot and he showed the world he’s just a cheap knock off. No discernment, bad judgement Poor guy is like those Rolex watches you buy on a NYC street corner.

Trump people are only upset because Ron had the right answer. Again.

And Trump had the wrong answer: "protest now, finally, because I'm more important than those J6 supporters / suckers suffering years as hostages."

If Don honestly wanted to fight the specific evil against him this time, then he'd acknowledge the most successful fighter in this battle: Big Ron.

Trump should be saying the truth of this matter:

"If NY had a gov like FL, then I would not be in this mess. State level problems need strong R govs like DeSantis!"

Why is Trump still silent regarding this important and most relevant truth?

Because he is the DS Don.

If I were DeSantis, I wouldn’t give Trump the time of day - not after all the demeaning comments Trump has directed at DeSantis.

I doubt old Don will survive these attacks. The former president is damaged goods . I votes for him in two elections and will not again. I know many people who are just like me.

I love DeSantis, but if he lets the same “strategists” that were behind Jeb! advise him, he’ll get the same pathetic results. That bunch is a combination of incompetents and players for the controlled opposition. Half of them don’t know how to win, and the other half don’t want to win.

Today’s Ill-advised comments were a red flag that DeSantis is already getting bad advice. No one other than Trump can afford to ignore what the donor and consultant class want, and no Republican can win without Trump’s base supporting them. The problem for those wannabes is…a significant percentage of Trump’s base are disaffected democrats and others who will not vote for any Republican other than Trump. So even if the plotters inside the Republican establishment were to succeed in replacing him with another candidate, all they would accomplish is a guaranteed Republican loss.

DeSantis needs to learn that anyone named Ryan, Bush, or Rove is not to be trusted, needs to also learn that attacking Trump, even in self-defense will lead to nothing good, and needs to cool his jets and wait until 2028. In the meantime, he should spend time establishing solid MAGA credentials, something that has been tarnished somewhat by his recent dalliance with the Bushes, Ryans, and Kochs of the world. That road is a dead end.

Then we get another Democrat. Thank you.

Cruz's response to the prosecutorial debacle is such a danger to the American way of life.

“ Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) slammed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's “political persecution” of former President Donald Trump as “utter and complete crap.”

“The case from the Manhattan District Attorney, if they bring an indictment and charge him, is utter and complete crap…It is flimsy. It is weak,” Cruz said on his latest Verdict podcast episode. “It has been rejected by prosecutor after prosecutor after prosecutor. And it is obviously political retribution and a political persecution.

“[Bragg] hates Donald Trump. Now he has a right to hate Donald Trump. But he doesn't have a right to abuse and corrupt the justice system to persecute his political opponents. And that, sadly, is exactly what he's doing here,” the Texas senator continued.”

Senator Cruz shamed Governor DeSantis.

>>Ron repeated the slur, that was unnecessary,<<

Trump spent decades as a moral reprobate. And he claims he has nothing to ask God to forgive him. And he most certainly did pay off a whore. Yet Trump and his people attack their conservative opponents for the most bizarre crap.

And you know who it hurts? Trump.

There’s a reason the Left has been able to run absolutely wild in this country, and it’s because the voice of the opposition says such incredibly stupid nonsense without the slightest regard for not sounding like John Lovitz’ compulsive liar on SNL.

When you accuse Ted Cruz’s father of killing Kennedy, no-one is going to take you seriously. He’s a bizarre, unhinged liar who takes political positions I passionately favor, and whom so many others have lied about, so I hold my nose, stifle my cringe, and vote for him.

But MY G*D, man!!! To whine like a pathetic school girl that someone has called you out for paying off a whore??? How do you people (the folks who take him over Cruz or DeSantis) take the man seriously?

And now, since 2020, he has turned into a one-man wrecking ball, laying waste to the tattered remnants of the Republican Party! He’s in it for himself. He was just smart enough to figure out you can’t repeatedly kick conservatives to the curb (like Bush and Dole and Bush and McCain and Romney) and expect to win people’s votes.
