Donald Trump Jr. and others criticized Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) for dismissing the rumors of a looming indictment of former President Donald Trump at the hands of leftist Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg as a “manufactured” circus that he wants no involvement in, concluding that the governor is displaying “weakness.”
DeSantis weighed in on the news of the looming indictment during Monday’s press conference, stating that he is aware of the rumors of the indictment but has not seen any “facts” yet.

I used to be a prosecutor. And if my star witnesses were convicted felon disbarred attorneys and a woman who just lost a defamation case against the defendant, I’d rethink my filing decision.
They need to focus on the real enemies.

Trashing someone publicly makes it less likely that that person will support you publicly.
He is not allowed by Florida Law to Campaign for any other office until he resigns his current office. Yet there he is doing just that. That is called shadow campaigning. If he came out and filed to run for POTUS without resigning first, he would be in direct violation of that law. That should be the law of the land for every elected office from dog catcher to POTUS.
I was not aware he was campaigning. I guess it’s a free speech issue with some folks.

But on Saturday , Trump Screamed Help Me and Got those I need Money to Help Me Fight this supposed tragedy emails out Real Quick almost like it was orchestrated .
No one really cares about the Slimy Legal Mess caused by Trump paying Hush Money to a over the hill Porn Star while he had a New Wife and Baby son at home .
It reminds me of the Sleazy Monica and Bill & Hillary legal mess .
Trump was pals with them back then too .

That’s not at all the message I’m getting from the left and the media about DeSantis. They hate DeSantis, they just hate Trump more (and will continue to, unless DeSantis becomes the front-runner). There may be some out there, but I’ve personally never seen a pro-DeSantis statement or article from leftists or the leftist media.
FWIW, my order of preference is the same as yours (Trump 1st, DeSantis 2nd).
