DeSantis is the Gov of Florida.
The Trump case does not involve the office of the Gov of Florida.
The prosecutor in this case is not a Florida prosecutor
The alleged crime did not occur in the state of Florida.
The Gov should have said that the case does not involve me in any official capacity; I do not know the facts of the case and it would be inappropriate for me to speak for President Trump in any capacity.
RdS is just as outraged as he was 1/7/21 when the entirety of DC GOP went all in on the coup. He wasn’t, he isn’t now. He knows exactly why Trump paid this two bit whore, who he NEVER touched, off. It was cheaper than going through the process of defending himself in our crappy court system. RdS is quite literally Bush league to me now. He’s lost any potential support from me he would have ever possibly garnered. He’s off my list in ‘24, ‘28, any other elections I might live to see. He’s just as mealy mouthed on equal justice before the law as he is on financing the incredibly dangerous proxy war on Russia.
I prefer Senator Cruz’s response:
“ Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) slammed Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s “political persecution” of former President Donald Trump as “utter and complete crap.”
“The case from the Manhattan District Attorney, if they bring an indictment and charge him, is utter and complete crap…It is flimsy. It is weak,” Cruz said on his latest Verdict podcast episode. “It has been rejected by prosecutor after prosecutor after prosecutor. And it is obviously political retribution and a political persecution.
“[Bragg] hates Donald Trump. Now he has a right to hate Donald Trump. But he doesn’t have a right to abuse and corrupt the justice system to persecute his political opponents. And that, sadly, is exactly what he’s doing here,” the Texas senator continued.”

DeSantis just came off as a big loof and a part of the DC establishment. He is another Crenshaw of Texas. POS gutless greedy, focused only on themselves and the DC reaching for the brass ring… and screw the American people. He’s done. I would not vote for him if he was the last candidate on the face of this earth. We are so done with these kind of candidates that don’t have balls of steel to fight the corruption in DC and the corrupt law enforcement. Chicken shit! Sad really I had high hopes for him. I really did like him but now I’m souring on him fast. He does not understand that whatever or whoever attacks a conservative is attacking the base. He is another McDaniels, the fat eating crappy chairwoman who speaks through her mouth and her butt …you can’t have it both ways. If shoe was on the other foot, I would’ve defended DeSantis from here to the high heavens, but what he has demonstrated of late with the illegal raiding of trump’s home and now this speaks volumes.

Senator Cruz shamed Governor DeSantis.
Not a good look for DeSantis.
“Porn Star Payments”
Hah!
FR Trumpsters wanted DeSantis to comment on Trump’s little problem. A problem he brought on himself.
And DeSantis has done so. I bet the Trumpsters are still not happy though.
Oh well. Sucks for them.
It does, however, give a little insight to where DeSantis might be heading. Personally, I think it's a mistake for him to run in 2024. Trump deserves another shot at this.
Mr. Desanctimonius in all his glory
FLASHBACK: Hillary Clinton quietly settled campaign finance violation last year, was NEVER ARRESTED
Clinton was given a $113,000 fine, Trump is looking at the possibility of handcuffs—for the same thing.

I used to be a prosecutor. And if my star witnesses were convicted felon disbarred attorneys and a woman who just lost a defamation case against the defendant, I’d rethink my filing decision.

So they want to pretend Trump knew and ordered Michael Cohen to pay Stormy Daniels 130,000 despite the fact that Michael Cohen is a liar and criminal who actually stole over 300,000 from Stormy Daniels?
The same Stormy Daniels who had to pay Trump 400,000?
Does that make sense to a sane person? No it doesn’t. So no intent means no crime.
This article is from fake news BBC.
Check the alleged source quote before tarring DeSantis.
I wish both of them would knock it off.
DeSantis is beginning to appear more and more as another smarmy politician.
A Harvard Law School graduate never heard of a non-disclosure agreement?
Stay in Tallahassee and spare yourself and your family the epic defeat coming for you.
You had to choose the BBC’s selective headline and editing to come up with this?
After all the $#/+ Trump has been throwing at DeSantis should anyone be surprised FL-GOV reminds everyone that the flimsy basis for this is a payoff to a whore?
DeSantis needs to stick with being FL governor.
I am beginning to think that the people funding and controlling the DeSantis for President in 2024 campaign are not so much trying to stop Trump as they are trying (and succeeding) to destroy the DeSantis for President in 2028 campaign.
